Scholarships
The IREM Foundation offers scholarships to those who express an interest in earning one of IREM’s credentials. The scholarship is calculated using the Member rate and may be used for tuition only. Then recipients have the opportunity to attend up to 3 IREM courses – at a reduced tuition rate – that fulfill the requirement for earning the CPM designation, ARM, or ACoM certifications.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents to their local IREM Chapter:
- Scholarship application
- Personal statement
- Resume
- Letter of support from the local IREM Chapter President or designated officer
The local chapter submits the documents on behalf of the applicant to the IREM Foundation for funding consideration.
Completed applications must be submitted by the 15th of the month. Applications are reviewed between the 15th and last day of the month. Applicants are notified in writing of their application status and if approved, may begin using the scholarship award upon approval.
The scholarships do not cover tuition for courses attended prior to scholarship approval.
The scholarships must be used in the calendar year awarded. No extensions will be granted.

Greater Rhode Island Chapter 88 values education and ethics, and has established a scholarship program through the IREM Foundation Scholarship Program to further the profession of property management and benefit the chapter and its members.
The Chapter’s intent by awarding scholarships is to recognize Property Managers who have the most potential to become leaders in the profession, to encourage those who are most likely to obtain their CPM or ARM designation in a timely manner, and to support members who are active in the chapter and will continue to benefit the chapter by their participation.
